Fishing and hiking at Dawn of Hope offers a down-to-earth experience that is sure to connect our visitors with the land or, in this case, the water! Our pond is freshly stocked each summer with rainbow trout, and fishing is open to all visitors. Whether you’re visiting for the day or you’re here as a guest, all Dawn of Hope visitors are welcome to enjoy fishing, swimming, and even exploring the muddy banks of our pond that sits against the breathtaking backdrop of the Colorado Rockies.
For hiking fun, we have a small trail around the property and we have direct access to the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument Park. Check out their website here for pass information and more. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov)
While certain aspects of the ranch are dependent on seasonal changes, we at Dawn of Hope are open year round and invite you to celebrate and revel in God’s glory spring, summer, fall and winter! Each season brings a unique gift to appreciate with fresh eyes of hope and wonder. In fact, the beautiful and distinct different seasons are one of the many reasons our state is so beloved, and we aren’t even (too) biased.
